With an opening similar to the likes of an 80s coming of age movie, The Rolling People have set themselves up for a strong EP with new single, ‘Your Take’.

The Stockport established band, The Rolling People, have smashed it out of the park yet again. Released just before they hit the road on a headline tour, this new single encapsulates the bands high energy, electric style.

Alongside the release they have partnered with Pretty Green, an indie staple in the music community, creating noise around the new single.

The alt-rock anthem carries a sense of urgency throughout. With catchy lyricism by frontman Charlie McNichol and grunge elements presented instrumentally, ‘Your Take’ is a single made for live performances.

Differing from previous songs with inspiration from Manchester bands such as Oasis and The Verve, ‘Your Take’ feels purely authentic and unique – clearly defining their own image.

With lyrics such as ‘The angst is over’ and ‘You turn it up when you’re down,’ TRP establish the effect of music on audiences and how they connect and interpret lyrics individually, through elements emotion and reception.

With a well-paced tempo, strong instrumentals, and commanding vocals – all members contribute their own elements, turning it into the chart-worthy anthem it is.

Their EP ‘Outlier’ will be released April 6th, and we cannot wait to see what they have in store following this release.
